The lens reads: Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar f5cm 1:2 Nr. Condition 4/E (aperture slightly stiff, useable but some haze - not in centre, minor dust + a few minor scratches). The top of the camera body reads: Leica DBP Ernst Leitz GMBH Wetzlar Germany Nr. The barn-door hood fits onto my lens, but it is a bit of a push, and makes me a bit nervous- not sure that I can see that being an easy solution on days that I want to take the hood on/ off multiple times. The photos pretty much tell the story on this one. I ordered a Summitar 'barn-door' hood which arrived today, as well as a Summitar to E39 adapter. On to my questions- these shots were taken without filter or hood, as I didn't have any yet.
